These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the ShipBlitz website, mobile applications, and courier shipping services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, scheduling a shipment, or utilizing our services, you (“Customer,” “User,” or “You”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you have the right to not use our Services.

1. Definition of Services

ShipBlitz provides package logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance assistance, and final-mile delivery services. ShipBlitz reserves the right to alter, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time without prior notice.

2. Customer Responsibilities & Account Security

To utilize our services, you must register for an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

Maintain the security of your account credentials and immediately notify ShipBlitz of any unauthorized use.

Be fully responsible for all activities, shipments, and charges incurred under your account.

3. Package Acceptance & Prohibited Items

ShipBlitz reserves the right to inspect any package, document, or cargo handed over to us for shipping, but is not obligated to do so.

Prohibited Cargo

You certify that your shipments do not contain hazardous materials, illegal drugs, weapons, ammunition, counterfeit goods, live animals, perishable items unless pre-approved, or any items prohibited by local or international law. ShipBlitz assumes zero liability for prohibited items and reserves the right to discard or hand over such items to law enforcement authorities immediately.

4. Pricing, Billing, and Payment

Rates and Fees

Shipping fees are calculated based on the actual weight or dimensional weight (whichever is greater), destination, and the specific service speed requested. All rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Storage Fees

Packages left uncollected at a ShipBlitz facility beyond the designated free storage window of 14 days post-arrival will incur daily storage fees of $20 per day. Packages abandoned beyond a specific statutory period of 30 to 60 days may be auctioned or disposed of to recover clearing and storage costs.

Duties and Taxes

The Customer is solely responsible for all customs duties, taxes, clearance fees, or government administrative fees levied on the shipment. ShipBlitz may advance these fees on your behalf to expedite clearing, and you agree to fully reimburse ShipBlitz prior to or upon delivery.

5. Delivery and Tracking

Estimated Delivery Times: Delivery timelines and "blitz" windows are estimates and are not guaranteed. ShipBlitz is not liable for delays resulting from customs inspections, severe weather, labor disruptions, or government restrictions.

Proof of Delivery: Delivery is considered complete when the package is scanned as delivered at the designated address, collected at our hub, or signed for by the Customer or an authorized representative.

6. Liability and Cargo Insurance

Limitation of Liability

Unless additional cargo insurance is declared and purchased upfront, ShipBlitz’s liability for proven lost or damaged cargo is strictly limited to a standard maximum cap per shipment or the actual depreciated cash value of the contents (whichever is lower).

Exclusions

ShipBlitz is not liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as loss of profits, income, or business opportunity) resulting from a delayed or lost shipment.
Damage caused by inadequate or improper packaging by the shipper.
Acts of God, natural disasters, or civil unrest (Force Majeure).

Claims Process

Any claim for damage or loss must be submitted in writing within a strict timeframe (e.g., 7 days) from the date of delivery or scheduled delivery, accompanied by proof of value and photos of the packaging and damage.

ShipBlitz reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account or refuse service to any individual or business at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of suspected fraud, non-payment, or abusive behavior toward staff.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the ShipBlitz entity handling your account is legally registered.

9. Amendments to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of our Services after amendments are published constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
